Calmsky is revolutionary VR exposure therapy for fear of flying

“You are what you repeatedly do”. With Calmsky, you can experience real passenger flights, all from the comfort and safety of your own home.

Every minute you spend in Calmsky rewires your brain to stop finding flying terrifying, and to start experiencing it like everyone else - safe, normal and perhaps even a little boring.

Exposure therapy is the only scientifically-validated method to reduce flight anxiety

Statistically, flying is the safest form of travel. However rational thinking can’t help overcome an irrational phobia.

At the core, any phobia stems from a sense of feeling unsafe. With CalmSky, you will come to find all the sensations of flying - from the strange surrounds to the unfamiliar sounds, entirely routine.

This is only a sample of the 10 flights included with CalmSky, and any flights can (and should!) be repeated until you no longer feel any anxiety.

Looking for a specific flight? There are dozens more available in the calmsky app with more added every week.

Whatever triggers your fear, CalmSky helps you conquer it

Whether your fear of flying stems from a fear of heights, claustrophobia, or loss of control, CalmSky lets you experience your triggers at your own pace as you gradually desensitize.

Repeat any flight as often as you need until your anxiety completely disappears.

Experience flying like pilots do

After putting on the included VR headset, you are guided through airport check in, boarding and most importantly, the flight itself.

From the bumps you feel to the sounds you hear, everything happening during the flight is reassuringly explained.

Everything you need for freedom from fear

Our aim is to provide you all the tools you need to be free of fear of flying, forever. The CalmSky program comes complete with everything you need to do that, including your VR headset and detailed instructions to get started.

The CalmSky app contains 10 flight simulations of varying lengths, conditions and feedback levels. And even more flights are available in the app if you need them.

Questions

How often should I use Calmsky?

Everyone’s experience is different depending on the nature and severity of your phobia, but generally speaking, the more you use CalmSky the better. Try to aim to spend at least 30 minutes to one hour in CalmSky each session, and build from there as time permits.

What about turbulence?

Obviously, Calmsky does not simulate turbulence, however we still find exposure therapy to be beneficial for this anxiety trigger. This is because it is not turbulence itself that causes anxiety - you experience bigger bumps in your car everyday without a second thought - it is turbulence in an unfamiliar, irrationally unsafe environment. CalmSky familiarises you with the environment of flying, indirectly reducing fear of turbulence.

What smartphones is the Calmsky headset compatible with?

The CalmSky headset uses your compatible iPhone or Android smartphone for the display. CalmSky is compatible with iPhone 6+ or later and any Android smartphone running version 4.4 or greater.

Everything you want is on the other side of fear.
